Legal Intermediary Status & Relationship Framework
Wander Nova India Private Limited (“Company,” “We,” “Us,” or “Wander Nova”) operates strictly as an IATA-certified travel intermediary and an online marketplace platform facilitator under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act 2000. The platform serves to connect intending travelers (“User,” “You,” or “Client”) with the ultimate third-party service providers of travel inventory, including but not limited to commercial airlines, hotel properties, alternative accommodation hosts, bus operators, car rental firms, and the Indian Railways (IRCTC).
The definitive contract for service delivery and utilization is always exclusively executed between the User and the respective underlying service provider. Wander Nova does not own, manage, operate, or control any aircraft, hotel properties, buses, surface cabs, or rail coaches. Consequently, the Company cannot be held legally or financially liable for any lack, deficiency, delay, route alteration, inventory overbooking, or sudden structural modification in the services provided by the ultimate supplier.
Core Pricing Architecture & Statutory Tax Inclusions
All prices, tariffs, and room or seat rates displayed across the Indian web domain (thewandernova.com) or localized mobile applications are presented in Indian Rupees (INR). Fares are highly dynamic, adjusting in real time based on direct inventory supply metrics. Unless explicitly noted otherwise during the final checkout session, all listed prices are comprehensive of the base fare, carrier-imposed surcharges, and statutory government levies.
Per the mandate of domestic tax structures, all platform-level Service Charges, Rescheduling Charges, Convenience Fees, and Cancellation processing fees levied by Wander Nova are strictly inclusive of the applicable statutory Goods and Services Tax (GST). Optional incidentals, including in-room hotel dining, minibar utilization, telephone tolls, and localized resort entrance destination fees, are explicitly excluded from the platform booking rate and must be settled by the traveler directly with the supplier.
Domestic & International Flight Reservations
- Age Classifications & Criteria: To qualify for infant ticketing pricing tiers, the child traveler must be strictly under 24 months of age throughout the entire duration of the listed itinerary, covering both the onward leg and the return journey. If an infant reaches or exceeds 24 months of age on the return date, the User is obligated to execute a separate booking under standard child fare guidelines. Children between the ages of 2 and 12 years must be booked under the child category. All minors and infants must be accompanied on all flight segments by an adult traveler who is at least 18 years old.
- Baggage Limitations: Baggage allowances on any given fare are determined solely by the airline. Certain highly discounted market fares are classified strictly as “hand baggage only” or “lite fares,” which do not entitle the traveler to free checked baggage. The User is required to purchase checked baggage weight separately.
- Code-Share Agreements: In the event that a marketing airline sells tickets on a route operated by a partner airline using the partner’s aircraft, the platform will explicitly disclose the arrangement during the checkout flow by labeling the segment as “Operated by,” provided the ticketing carrier has accurately synchronized this data with our centralized system.
Accommodations & Hotel Booking Compliance
- Check-In Thresholds: The primary guest registry profile must be a minimum of 18 years of age at the time of check-in. The primary traveler and all accompanying guests are legally required to be in possession of, and present, valid government-issued photo identity and address verification proofs (such as a passport, driving license, or voter identification card) upon arrival at the property counter.
- Admission Sovereignty & Restrictions: Accommodation properties retain an absolute, sovereign right of admission. Under localized municipal rules, individual property house policies, or regional regulations, check-in access may be explicitly denied to local city residents, unmarried couples, or unrelated individuals traveling together. Wander Nova exercises no administrative control over supplier admission rejections, and no refunds or financial restitutions will apply if check-in is denied for these reasons.
- Festive Surcharges: Accommodation suppliers reserve the right to levy mandatory meal surcharges during specific festive intervals, such as Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve. All such mandatory localized additions must be paid directly to the hotel front desk.
Surface Transportation Systems (Bus & Cabs)
- Bus Segment Framework: Wander Nova provides a technological search and reservation platform for independent bus operators. The Company does not maintain a fleet or employ transit staff. Amenities, routes, seat assignments, and terminal arrival times are managed entirely by the bus provider. Users must arrive at the designated boarding point at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure and present a digital or physical copy of the ticket voucher along with a valid government ID. All passenger tickets are strictly non-transferable. A standard regular seat fare must be purchased for any accompanying child who is above 5 years of age.
- Cab Segment Framework: The platform facilitates the booking of Outstation Cabs (possessing an All India Tourist Permit), Intracity Car Rentals, and Airport Drops. The base booking quote covers only the primary distance and time allocation. Expenses such as local road tolls, state border taxes, passenger taxes, commercial parking fees, and mandatory overnight driver allowances are explicitly excluded and must be paid directly to the driver in cash. Final pricing is calculated on a “garage-to-garage” framework (measuring distance and duration from the vehicle’s home garage back to the home garage). Users must not coerce drivers into violating traffic laws or overloading the luggage boot space.
Railway Ticketing (IRCTC Integration)
All train ticket reservations made on the platform are subject to the master Terms & Conditions issued by the Indian Railways and the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). During the booking sequence, the platform will automatically redirect users to input their verified IRCTC credentials. Users can book a maximum of 6 seats/berths per transaction; all berth allocations are handled by the automated logic of Indian Railways, with no platform-level guarantees for specific preferences.
The train booking interface is completely non-functional daily between 2345 hours and 0030 hours due to essential IRCTC server downtime. Fully waitlisted e-tickets that fail to confirm are automatically canceled by the Railways after final chart preparation, and the underlying fare will be reversed to the original payment account, minus the non-refundable platform service fee.
Changes, Cancellations, No-Shows, & Refunds
- Single PNR Multi-Segment Rule: If a user does not embark on the onward segment of a multi-city or international flight journey issued under a single Passenger Name Record (PNR), the operating airline automatically cancels all remaining flight legs, including return sectors. The Company cannot override this automated carrier security protocol.
- Offline Disconnection Protocol: If a traveler cancels or modifies their ticket directly through an airline’s portal, ticketing desk, or customer support center, the user must explicitly notify Wander Nova via email to trigger the refund tracking loop. Because carriers do not feed automated agency alerts for direct manual adjustments, Wander Nova cannot process backend reversals without formal written client notification.
- Refund Deductions & Reversals: Approved refunds are processed back to the exact source account (the same credit card, debit card, net banking profile, or digital wallet) used during the initial transaction. Convenience fees paid during booking are strictly non-refundable. For partially utilized tickets, any upfront promotional discounts or promo code value applied at checkout will be entirely clawed back and deducted from the final refund disbursement.
Governing Law & Court Jurisdiction
These localized Terms and Conditions, along with all transactional engagements executed within the domestic territories of India, are governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute, statutory claim, or formal consumer complaint arising out of or relating to the use of this platform must be filed exclusively in the competent courts holding territorial jurisdiction over the registered operating node of the Company in India.
